Austin Donald Robinson...better late than never....

Hello everyone....sorry I haven't updated in literally months but...I have been having computer troubles and actually have no where to upload pictures to currently.....so anyway here are some pictures from donald....no not donald....now Austins adoption....Amy and Donald (he was still Donald at this point)
Me and Donald

Grandma and Grandpa and Donald....
you would think that you know such a serious occasion would get a little bit of seriousness from us.....
then again maybe not....
this is what happens when you shove a bunch of overly excited people into one room and make them wait....
Donald took the camera for a while it was funny because he took a picture of someone and they said thats not very good we should delete that and he promptly replied we are not allowed to delete pictures (this is a rule I taught them all early on when I let them use my camera that way no accidental erasing of the camera)
heres the silliness that ensued as we passed the camera back and forth

I think you may have been a little young for that war.

juror #12

heres the judge and officially Austin Donald Robinson!
happy mom and dad!! with Austin!!
we did get serious for a second I guess
hers the crowd that showed up....except me because I took the picture
so here is me and Austin!!!! after it was all finalized he came out of the room singing my name is Austin...I am not Donald!!! then Amy said Donald come here and he said I don't know who this Donald is you are talking about.
after that we walked down to California Tortilla for some yummy Americanish mexican food!
and Austin and I played with the camera some more.
and here's the money shot hahahahahahaha!!!!! sorry I couldn't help myself....

YAY! an update! maybe in the not too distant future I will update more...

New York City

Hello everyone long time no post...i've had a bunch of computer troubles so I haven't been able to update and I think there is probably a ton of stuff thats happened between my last post and this but I am not really sure what they all are.....anyway I went to NYC for a weekend to visit Allison at the Jewish Theological seminary where she goes to school. here is Allison in her room...
we visited the site of the world trade centers attack
here is a poster outside the firehouse across the street from the site this are men and women who were lost in the attacks

and this is what the site looks like today...a construction site
then we went to the natural history museum and we took a free tour and while we were in the african mammal display she was talking about the guy who made the display and she said "you think it was really mean to kill all these animals to make displays....well yes it was" I was flabergasted!! they actually went out and picked the best animals and then slaughtered them and stuffed them...that is a whole heard of african elephants...slaughtered....it's all I could think about for the rest of the day
even a baby elephant
we rode the carousel in central park...Allison was super excited
i was a little excited too
and then she saw the clowns
there were creepy decorations all over the carousel
Allison was really good and put her seatbelt and everything on...I did not...
decorations
really creepy clowns....
and a mischievous monkey
poor squirrel
Allison likes horses
me...eh their alright
no they do not....and don't you forget it
a pretty structure...bridge...thing
and a fountain!
lily pads

hey look it's both Allison and I!
um another pretty bridge...structure...thing...

heres the Belvedere castle....just a random castle in central park we took a free walking tour around it...it was pretty cool!
it used to be a weather station...
now this is the weather station so whenever you hear the weather is such and such in central park this is where they record it.
heres more of the castle
turtle pond that green stuff on the water is called duck food and thats what the turtles and the ducks eat.
heres a guy from Poland...i can't remember I think he came over for the worlds fair because he was famous for some sort of battle and somebody made a statue and it ended up staying here in central park...man my memory sucks...
here's cleopatra's needle...it's the oldest man made structure in NYC or north American or something like that....took them 3 months to get it like 12 blocks or something...and cleopatra never actually saw it....
those claws were added when it got here....

Hamilton...killed in a duel with Aaron Burr....
Allison....I have no idea
central park.
heres the castle from a distance
Allison inside the castle
the turtles in turtle pond
big turtle.
teenage mutant ninja turtles....

swimming turtle

a tree of birds
a view from the castle...
Allison showing you central park
me!!
um...a flag

then we went to time square...and Allison is afraid of elmo...
she doesn't want to cross the street....
because of minnie and spongebob.....
we went to the m&m store and found our color....mine says "you would show everyone how patient you are if only you had the time"....just a bit ironic....
allison's says "youre determined to see a job through to the end isn't it time to cross "eat chocolate" off your list of things to do"

then we went to the hershey store!

and snuck past the characters and went home....well back to Allison's....then I went home...well hopefully you enjoyed this post....
